Congratulations to Kevin Hayden, of Carlisle County, for achieving the top yield of 324.98 bu/A in the 2020 Kentucky Corn Yield Contest and the National Corn Yield Contest (among Kentucky producers) with DeKalb KDC65-95RIB seed.
Winners of the 2019 Kentucky Yield Contest were honored the evening of Jan. 16 at the Kentucky Commodity Conference in Bowling Green, where they received a cash award from KyCorn and trophies sponsored by KyCorn, DuPont Pioneer and Whayne Agri-Business.

Kentucky farmer Jason Greenwell of Waverly, earned third place in the Division A Non-Irrigated category with a yield of 319.6887 planting Channel brand 218-44VT2PRIB seed. This is the first time in several years a Kentucky producer has earned a top spot among the nation’s corn growers.

The University of Kentucky has released the amazing results of the 2017 Kentucky Corn Yield Contest, where 25 entries surpassed the 300 bushel mark. An additional 66 entries achieved a yield over 250 bushels per acre.
