KY Corn Supports the Kentucky Farmland Transition Initiative

The Kentucky Farm Bureau launched the Kentucky Farmland Transition Initiative to support farmers and landowners in preserving Kentucky farmland for active agricultural use. As a proud supporter, KY Corn acknowledges the urgency of this effort—over the past 20 years, Kentucky has lost 17,000 farms and 1.4 million acres of farmland.

This initiative aims to provide valuable resources and workshops, connect individuals and organizations committed to farmland preservation, and explore potential policy solutions. To learn more or access available resources, visit www.kyfarmlandtransition.com.

What we do.

Kentucky Corn strives to create a future for Kentucky corn farmers where they can operate successfully, grow demand and foster an understanding of corn farmers and the industry.

Become a member.

For us, grassroots means that corn farmer members are the organization. Our organization is governed by a board of directors of volunteer farmers who are elected by farmer members. Kentucky Corn Growers Association’s ability to influence policy decisions depends entirely on the strength of its membership.
