A step in the right direction taken today by the U.S. House of Representatives as they passed the Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026 (H.R. 7567), otherwise known as “Farm Bill 2.0”.
The House voted 224-200 to pass the farm bill, which the Kentucky Corn Growers Association and Kentucky Small Grain Growers Association applauds.
Thank you to the Kentucky representatives who voted in support of this agriculture legislation.
The bill was first introduced in February by the House Agriculture Committee, and now moves to the U.S. Senate for consideration, where another long fight is expected. Click here to learn more about the House’s farm bill.
Unfortunately, earlier this week, the proposed E15 language was taken out of the farm bill and is expected to be voted on independently the week of May 11. The Kentucky Corn Growers Association continues pushing for nationwide, year-round E15 to support farmer demand.
