KyCorn Congratulates New Ag Secretary Sonny Perdue

KyCorn President Richard Strode, a farmer from Owensboro, issued the following statement regarding the U.S. Senate’s confirmation of Sonny Perdue as U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Secretary.

“It’s wonderful to see the President’s nominee for Agriculture Secretary achieve Senate confirmation. We believed Secretary Purdue was a great choice being from the southeastern part of the country. We are also happy to hear that he is already taking charge of the USDA and meeting with the President and farm groups. The next Farm Bill needs to be addressed as soon as possible.”

What we do.

Kentucky Corn strives to create a future for Kentucky corn farmers where they can operate successfully, grow demand and foster an understanding of corn farmers and the industry.
