Kentucky Pollinator Protection App

bee apple blossom.jpg

The Pollinator Protection mapping program is now available to beekeepers and pesticide applicators. If you would like to use this program to register your apiaries and/or pesticide spraying applications, please use Chrome, not Internet Explorer.

In terms of the Pollinator Protection app, it is free, takes about five minutes to register, and beekeepers and applicators can maintain their anonymity. It has about 500 users, about evenly mixed between beekeepers and applicators, with some beekeepers also registering as applicators if they have orchards. Beekeepers can register multiple apiaries. For obvious reasons, now is the best time to register apiary sites because spraying has not started yet. Download the Pollinator Protection Program Guide from KDA State Apiarist.

What we do.

Kentucky Corn strives to create a future for Kentucky corn farmers where they can operate successfully, grow demand and foster an understanding of corn farmers and the industry.

Become a member.

For us, grassroots means that corn farmer members are the organization. Our organization is governed by a board of directors of volunteer farmers who are elected by farmer members. Kentucky Corn Growers Association’s ability to influence policy decisions depends entirely on the strength of its membership.

By being a member, you make the Kentucky Corn Growers Association a stronger advocacy group.
