Connecting to Consumers at the Kentucky State Fair

2017-3.jpg

The Kentucky State Fair is a great place to connect with the agriculture community and consumers while sharing how corn impacts our lives and Kentucky’s economy. We provided support and materials for several displays, one of which promoted the engine project conducted by the Owensboro Community and Technical College Alternative Fuels program. They studied the effects of E85 on engines and made those results available.

KyCorn also had a presence under the Kentucky Cookout Tent through a partnership with Gallrein Farms, and we were once again a co-sponsor in the Sale of Champions. The proceeds go to exhibiting 4-H and FFA youth. Many thanks to all of our contributing farmers for allowing us to make an impact at the Kentucky State Fair!

What we do.

Kentucky Corn strives to create a future for Kentucky corn farmers where they can operate successfully, grow demand and foster an understanding of corn farmers and the industry.

Become a member.

For us, grassroots means that corn farmer members are the organization. Our organization is governed by a board of directors of volunteer farmers who are elected by farmer members. Kentucky Corn Growers Association’s ability to influence policy decisions depends entirely on the strength of its membership.

By being a member, you make the Kentucky Corn Growers Association a stronger advocacy group.
